Jim, thanks for a great story. Glad to hear you success with connecting with the next generation and enjoying every moment. We never know which trip will be our last until long after the fact.

Thanks for the reminder of the work and pain. Like childbirth, all of that soon fades and replaced with the joy. I may need to figure out a non-portage trip for me and my boys next year. It’s been more than 10 years since my last visit. Also thanks for the reminder that I’m not so young anymore. 😆

Thanks Mari. I went into it with the thought that it might be my last visit, but it went so well, I haven't ruled out a return in a couple years after the soreness wears off. LOL. Thanks for reading!
